Meet Dr. Rodriguez.
Dr. Rodriguez is an obstetrician and gynecologist with decades of experience across three countries. Born and raised in Cuba, he earned his medical degree from the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas in 1990 and completed his initial OB/GYN residency at Havana General Hospital.
After practicing in Cuba, he moved to the Dominican Republic in 1996, passing his specialty board examinations and practicing medicine for over seven years. In 2002, he relocated to the United States and completed an OB/GYN residency at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Ponce, Puerto Rico, graduating as a board-certified specialist in 2015.
Throughout his career, Dr. Rodriguez has performed thousands of deliveries — from natural births and cesarean sections to complex high-risk pregnancies — and remains actively involved in every aspect of his patients' care.
To help maintain appointment availability across all three locations, visits may occasionally be scheduled with another qualified physician or provider in the practice, particularly when Dr. Rodriguez is seeing patients, attending hospital responsibilities, or delivering babies.
